What is Diversity?
The word diversity means “variety”, “multitudinousness” and “difference”.
Diversity as a concept refers explicitly to gender, age and nationality, the religious, social and ethical background as well as to the different cultures of the cooperating employees in the workplace.
Diversity as a modern management approach assumes that the variety of different impulses of each employee gives the company the possibility to react creatively, promptly and flexible on different consumer groups as well as on distinct market developments – and therefore succeeds.
It is the aim, to create an open corporate culture, in which everybody is willing to and is able to contribute to the overall success.
